The Philosophy of TENNE

Precision over force — the depth a body can accept.

The Meaning Behind TENNE

Heaven and hand.

TENNE takes its name from two Japanese characters: 天 (ten), and 手 (te).

天 means heaven — height, stillness, a time to step away from daily life and return to yourself. 手 means hand — human warmth, the sense of reading what the body cannot yet put into words, and the craftsmanship refined over years of practice.

Together, they form our intention: to meet each body by hand, offering precisely what it needs.

The TENNE Method

Many techniques, one continuous flow.

  • Lymphatic Drainage
  • Shiatsu
  • Botanical Oil Treatment
  • Hot Stone Therapy Ginza Salon Only
  • Foot Reflexology
  • Slimming Leg Wrap Treatment Ginza Salon Only
  • Head Spa

Techniques honed over more than a decade of practice are combined to suit each body.

In response to swelling, we encourage flow. Where deep tension resides, we listen to the body as we apply gradual pressure. When movement is restricted, shiatsu frees the body. When the mind and nerves refuse to rest, our head spa brings deep release.

Rather than treating each technique separately, touch and rhythm flow continuously into one session. Not fitting the body to a fixed course — building the session around the body. That is what bespoke means at TENNE.

Pressure That Listens

Precision over force.

Not applied — absorbed.

Strong pressure doesn't always mean deeper release. When the body is tense and met with sudden force, it instinctively guards itself — the surface yields, but tension often remains held beneath.

TENNE isn't about changing the body through force. A hand rests quietly, reading breath and muscle response, to find the depth a body can naturally accept — pressure absorbed rather than pushed in. Depth, direction, rhythm, and duration are adjusted continuously, waiting for tension to release in its own time.

Precision over force. That is what depth means at TENNE.

"A treatment shaped by your body.
A precision felt beyond pressure."
